The First Policy Lab in the City of Modena got into action on the 21st of January 2023!
The group gathered at Galleria Europa and for the Administration it was a precious moment to listen to the troubles that boys and girls with migratory background have to face in daily life.
Asylum seekers, international students and second generation youth shared their experiences talking about language and cultural barriers, long waiting lists to get documents, difficulties and less opportunities in the job field.
After a long discussion and small group activities, the participants agreed on the 7 topics to work on in the next Policy Lab: communication and information about services, Italian language, labor law, jobs for students, knowledge and participation in voluntary work associations, participation of girls in sports and free sport opportunities.
