“Here we are” was held on Saturday 20 April 2024 in Modena in Piazza Grande, an event organized by various departments of the Municipality and associations, coordinated by Modena Città Interculturale. The aim was to give visibility to the projects dedicated to inclusion and interculturalism that Modena is carrying out.
We at the Youth Office participated to promote MUST-a-Lab, the Recommendations and the various concrete actions that we are implementing for people with a migratory background. First we had a totem created to illustrate the salient phases of the project.
Furthermore, this moment was the opportunity to present and distribute “Modena for all – guide to Modena services for migrant people”, the orientation map whose first draft had been created as a micro-experimentation. After the third policy lab, the Youth and Communication Office worked hard to improve it and thus arrive at the final version. To make use easier we have also printed bookmarks with the QR code to download the map in pdf on your smartphone.
Many curious passers-by stopped to ask for information about MUST-a-Lab and expressed positive opinions about the project, but above all maps and bookmarks were snapped up! People with migrant backgrounds and others have recognized the usefulness of “Modena for all”, making themselves available to disseminate it among friends and acquaintances who need it.
