“Free Computer Courses for Migrants” as part of the micro-experiment in Livadia

Municipality of Livadia in cooperation with the Directorate of the Primary Education in Viotia organized “Computer Courses” for third-country nationals in the context of implementing the micro-experiment with the title: “The development of an effective Communication Strategy”.

According to the feedback taken during the two Policy Labs, migrants do not have basic digital skills. This fact constitutes an obstacle not only for finding a job but also for their receiving the necessary information and their social integration, in general.

As a result, we regarded as necessary to increase their job opportunities and their communication with the stakeholders and public services by organizing computer courses for migrants. The courses address to people who seek to acquire basic computer knowledge and skills.

Starting from October 4, 2023 to November 6th, 2023, the participants can attend 20 hours of free computer lessons. Upon the completion of the courses, all participants will also receive the respective certificate.
