CO-CREATING FUENLABRADA

During the month of February, some of the recommendations resulting from the development of the MUST–a-Lab project have begun to be implemented.

On the one hand, work is being done on the first recommendation that will allow the MUST-FuenLab group to consolidate itself as a formal participation structure that continues to influence the political and social development of the city of Fuenlabrada.

On the other hand, and while the city is shaping the Action Plan that will allow for the effective implementation of policy recommendations, the MUST-FuenLab group had the opportunity on February 22 to be part of the “COCREATE” debate forum, a space for reflection and debate on the design of public spaces in our city. This project follows the lines of work of the Policy Labs, this time allowing different agents to come together to analyze the urban reality and its use, including young people, municipal technicians and students of the architecture degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University from Fuenlabrada.

In this first phase, MUST-FuenLab was able to give its vision on the design and current use of public spaces, giving ideas on how to improve their functionality and attraction. In a second phase, they will be able to collaborate in their design.
